Found a New Life in Houston

It was never my intention to move down here permanently. I came down here for a six month contract, but things worked out so that I decided to stay. The original contract was working to build a facility for reliant energy. They liked my work and my style of management. Apparently they needed some one to take over a job and they had not liked the last guy’s style. I do not really like to be yelled at and so I accord the people under me the same respect. From what I have heard this previous supervisor was a real yeller and they think he ruined his health from being too tightly wound. Working on the New Floor Plan Now

I got this piece of land as a wedding gift, about five years ago. At the time it was probably worth a couple thousand dollars, although it is more now. The developer had not put in the road at that time, so the land was not worth too much. I cleared it myself, borrowed my buddy’s bulldozer and dump truck a couple of times. Pretty much cleared all the trees that droped leaves save for a half dozen red oak trees. Right now I am planning the house, looking to find home security installer who does a bit of home automation as well.
